I hope you are enjoying your summer! Heads up, tomorrow (Thursday, July 7), I have my one and only jazz gig of the summer.
I feel very fortunate to have such a stellar band: Ian Toms on guitar, Mat MacEachern on drums, Chris Martel on bass and our wonderful organizer and saxophonist Dan Rowswell.
Showtime is 8 o’clock at Baba’s Lounge, upstairs from the famous Cedar’s Eatery on Great George between Kent and Fitzroy in beautiful Charlottetown, PEI. Be sure to get there early in order to get a table, it is a very intimate little jazz venue. The food is excellent and they have local beers on offer.
Thanks to all who came to see us at The Glennalade Festival. It was nice to do an all Celtic set.
FYI: my singing camp Aug 5-7 is now full, but let me know if you would like to be on the waiting list. People sometimes need to cancel at the last minute.
