Well it’s a real Canadian winter this year. Warm up with a house concert, or better yet, join us for a singing/yoga retreat in Mexico or The Winter Folk Camp in Haliburton.
My buddy October Browne and I will soon be setting out on our annual ‘Raise the Dead of Winter tour.’ Perhaps we’ll be coming to a town near you. These are all house concerts, space is limited so it is sometimes best to reserve a seat.

I am happy to be home after a wonderful Western Canadian tour. Thanks to all the good folks from Thompson to Whitehorse who hosted us and came out to the shows. What an amazing country we have. Summer is behind us and I’m busy harvesting my garden before heading out on tour. It was a great summer, lots of shows, beach days, visitors and gardening. Performance highlights for me were Stanfest, Lunenburg Folk Festival and The PEI Jazz Festival.

Well here were are in the dog days of summer. It’s been fabulous. I kicked off the summer with Song Road’s CD launch at Trailside Café with my friend and producer, Jaron Freeman-Fox. The album has been getting great reviews and lots of airplay! Folks are loving Jaron’s production.
